Volunteering as an English teacher was an unforgettable experience. What started as helping students learn a language became a beautiful exchange of cultures and stories. Seeing their confidence grow and hearing them express their dreams in English reminded me that teaching is really about connection — and the power of communication to change lives.

We visited elderly residents to offer companionship, help with errands, and check in on their well-being, strengthening community support and reducing isolation.
